Matching Games that Include 5 Sets of Different Questions

January 28, 2020

I loved giving my students extra practice on a math concept with a quick matching game. The students always seemed to enjoy the activity and were eager to begin. Most even though of it as a race and always tried to work as quickly as they could to finish first. This quickly lead to some students becoming not quite so engaged in the math and rather eager to sneak peeks over at their neighbor's desk to catch a glimpse of an answer or two. I loved their competitiveness and didn't want to give up all together with the matching activities. This lead to Qwizy's creation of bulk sets of Matching games that encourage individual work seeing as how there are 5 different sets of question cards for teachers to hand out to their students.

With 5 different versions of each card set, it is easy to scatter them around the room and discourage dishonesty. It is amazing to be able to set your students on the task and be able to watch them as they try their best to matching up the questions and answers correctly. This also allows for ample time for you to spend helping the students that are struggling with the concepts. The different sets of questions also encourages students to help each other if you allow them to. I have seen students take a break on their activity to explain the process of solving the math problem to their classmates instead of just giving them the answer simply because the questions are different.

Each Matching Game, sold on TPT, contains 5 different Matching Card sets for you and your students. Math concepts range from 2nd grade math all the way up to 12th grade. Let’s check out a few of Qwizy’s Matching Games:
