Bingo in the Classroom
Do you ever tire of handing out the same boring old review packets or going through the same station rotations right before all your exams? Sometimes it is way more exciting to review old concepts and get your class ready for an upcoming exam with a game. If you haven't tried Bingo in your classroom yet, then you have to give it a try. Bingo games are a great way to review past content, provide your students with extra practice, and reinforce repetition.
Qwizy's BINGO games are one of a kind and can be found in my TPT store. We have math BINGO games for all grade levels, ranging from our Adding and Subtracting Integers game to our Calculus: Integrals Bundle. Additionally, all of our BINGO games are created in ultra high resolution for printing at any size. To achieve this, we use the same mathematical typography used in textbooks and research papers for optimal readability and display. Therefore, each BINGO game consists of 50 high quality BINGO cards, that are unique and randomly generated, featuring not only numbers but equations as well. This means you can play them in any math classroom with up to 50 students at one time, or pass out 2 cards to each kid for a class of 25 or less.
Also note, all of our BINGO cards are created from a bank of either 35 questions for the Short game or 75 questions for the Long game. This creates two options for you to choose from, so you can pick whichever game best suits your classroom's needs. The Short Game has about half the amount of questions as the Long Game, thereby allowing for quicker/more Wins within a class period. Actual game time varies depending on class size and time allotted per question.
Finally, each of our BINGO games can be played three different ways. The first is our ActivitySite which is included for a digital presentation that works in any web browser. Second, we have provided Question Cards for a more traditional BINGO experience where the teachers can either read aloud the questions or write them down for the students to see. As a third option, you can use a random number generator and the Teacher Call Sheet to choose and read aloud questions for your class.
However you and your students choose to play BINGO, we know it will be just what your classroom needs in preparation for your upcoming exams. Now, let's take a peak at a few of our games:
