5 Different High School Holiday Activities

Alt Text

How many times have you tried looking for a Christmas math activity for your students that is both festive and not a total waste of your time? I used to spend countless hours searching the web for engaging and grade level appropriate activities for my high school students around the holiday season. It seemed to me that most of the "cooler" looking activities only existed for lower grade levels, and most high school teachers settled with handing out a Christmas multiplication worksheet to their kids saying it is always good for my students to get some extra practice on simple math concepts. (I handed out Cartesian art worksheets, because all students need practice graphing points! 😉) While these statements are completely true, I always felt it would have been nicer to have a holiday activity for my students that was at their grade level and focused on concepts we were currently covering in class. This is when I decided Qwizy needs to start creating Math Pixel Art activities.

Qwizy is my platform where I blog about exciting math news, share my insights and ideas for differentiating your classroom, and sell the math activities I have created. (For more info. about Qwizy, see my previous blog post: Introducing Qwizy) All of Qwizy's available materials can be purchased through my TPT store. We have numerous math Christmas Pixel Art Activities. The concepts range from 2nd Grade Math all the way up to AP Calculus.

Each Pixel Art set contains 105+ activity pages for you and your students. You can choose to use them in any combination to best suite your classroom's needs. You get 5 different Problem Sets each containing 15 different Questions for the students to answer and then color in their mystery grid to reveal 1 of 21+ different pictures! So if you have a class where you want to encourage individual work, hand our a different page to each student. Or if you wish to encourage group work, hand out the same problem set to each group or class. Let’s check out some of Qwizy’s High School Christmas Pixel Art Activities.
