3 Fun Valentine's Day Math Activities for all Grades
Are you in the need of an engaging and fun Valentine's Day Math Activity for your class? If so, you need to check out what Qwizy has to offer. We have over 40 different Valentine's Day Pixel Art Activity Sets, Valentine's Day Matching Games, and BINGOs. Best of all, you can get all of these activities for whatever grade level you teach. All of our Activities cover math concepts ranging from Adding and Subtracting Positive Integers to evaluating Derivatives and Integrals in AP Calculus.
Each Valentine's Day Pixel Art set contains 130 activity pages for you and your students. You can choose to use them in any combination to best suite your classroom's needs. You get 5 different Problem Sets each containing 15 different Questions for the students to answer and then color in their mystery grid to reveal 1 of 26 different pictures! So if you have a class where you want to encourage individual work, hand our a different problem set page to students near one another. Or if you wish to encourage group work, hand out the same problem set to each group or class and have the students collaborate. Each student will still end up with a different mystery picture, so they will all still have to complete their individual assignment.
Each Valentine's Day Matching Game contains 5 different Matching Card sets for you and your students. You are provided with multiple versions of each card set so you can differentiate your instruction as you see fit. One way I have used Qwizy's Valentine's Day Matching Games was to pass out a different version of the Matching Card sets to each group/student in my classroom. This promoted individual work and collaboration seeing as all groups/students had 15 different problems to solve, forcing student to talk about the math when they were stuck on a problem instead of just copying their neighboring group.
Each BINGO game consists of 50 high quality BINGO cards, that are unique and randomly generated, featuring not only numbers but equations as well. This means you can play them in any math classroom with up to 50 students at one time, or pass out 2 cards to each kid for a class of 25 or less. Also note, all of our BINGO cards are created from a bank of either 35 questions for the Short game or 75 questions for the Long game. This creates two options for you to choose from when playing, so you can pick whichever game best suits your classroom's needs and time allotments.
